Environmental and Social Partnerships

Through environmental and social initiatives with proven industry leaders, SKIMS is taking action to support a more equitable future.

ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

SUPERCIRCLE

In an effort to recycle excess textiles, SKIMS is proud to partner with Supercircle – a full-service technology and reverse logistics platform powering recycling for the world's best retail brands. Supercircle's end-to-end circularity platform will allow SKIMS to collect, sort, and process pre-consumer and post-consumer apparel, accessories, and fabric scraps, while providing garment level tracking and tracing through responsible end-of-life.

WATERSHED

SKIMS has measured its carbon footprint and is working to reduce its footprint and emissions in partnership with Watershed — the leading sustainability platform for emissions measurement, reductions, and reporting. SKIMS has committed to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2021 base year.

FRONTIER

SKIMS was the first apparel brand to participate in Frontier, an advance market commitment to buy an initial $1B of permanent carbon removal by 2030. SKIMS has contributed over $1 million to Charm, Heirloom, and Vaulted Deep, innovative start-ups developing new technology to remove carbon from the atmosphere.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY INITIATIVES

FAIR LABOR ASSOCIATION

SKIMS is a proud member of the Fair Labor Association (FLA), an international network promoting human rights to ensure millions of people working at factories and farms worldwide are paid fairly and protected from risks to their health, safety, and well-being. As a member, SKIMS is working to attain Fair Labor Accreditation, a process that signifies its commitment to implementing effective systems that enhance working conditions within our global supply chain.

BABY2BABY

SKIMS is honored to support the essential relief work of Baby2Baby, a national nonprofit that provides diapers and other critical items to more than one million children across the United States every year. In the last 13 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 450 essential items to children in need.
